Peter Mutune Kikondu, MScN (Oncology Nursing), BScN, KRCHN, RN
Founder & Managing Director | Oncology Nurse Specialist | Nurse Educator | Healthcare Consultant
Peter Mutune Kikondu is the Founder and Managing Director of NEXUS OMNICARE LIMITED, a nurse-led healthcare consultancy committed to improving the lives of individuals living with cancer, chronic illnesses, and life-limiting conditions across Kenya.
With over 15 years of progressive nursing experience in medical-surgical and oncology care, Peter combines advanced clinical expertise with a passion for patient advocacy, education, and compassionate, evidence-based care. He holds a Master of Science in Oncology Nursing (MScN) and is a licensed nurse registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
As an experienced Oncology Nurse Specialist, Nurse Educator, Clinical Instructor, and Healthcare Consultant, Peter has dedicated his career to supporting patients through every stage of their illness—from diagnosis and treatment to survivorship, rehabilitation, palliative care, and home-based support. His work is driven by the belief that every patient deserves accessible, coordinated, and dignified care beyond the hospital setting.
Inspired by the unmet supportive care needs of patients and families, Peter founded NEXUS OMNICARE LIMITED to bridge the gap between hospital-based treatment and community care. Through a nationwide network of qualified nurses and multidisciplinary partners, the company delivers virtual consultations, home visits, patient navigation, rehabilitation support, caregiver education, and palliative care, ensuring that quality nursing services are available wherever they are needed.
Peter’s vision is to transform supportive healthcare in Kenya by making expert nursing care more accessible, personalised, and continuous—helping every patient live with comfort, confidence, and hope.
